Australia’s best golfers and an array of international talent from the European Tour and LPGA are set to return to 13th Beach Golf Links in Barwon Heads for the 2020 ISPS Handa Vic Open.

2020 will mark the eighth consecutive year that the tournament has been held in the Geelong region, on the stunning Bellarine Peninsula.

The event is Australia’s fastest growing golf tournament.

The Vic Open is the only golf tournament of its kind around the world, with the men’s and women’s fields competing on the same courses, at the same time, for an equal share in the prize money.

The tournament will again be spread across both the Beach and Creek courses for the first two rounds, before those that make the halfway cut tackle the Beach Course over the weekend.

Past champions include some of the games greats in Peter Thomson, Ian Baker-Finch and Greg Norman, and in more recent times Nick Cullen, Richard Green, Minjee Lee and Marianne Skarpnord.

In 2019 the combined prize pool ballooned to an incredible $3 million, increasing ten-fold since the tournament moved to its home in Barwon Heads in 2013. 2020 will see men and women battle it out again for a share of $1.5 million each.

World-class golf is certainly not all that the Vic Open has to offer! During the tournament, Thirteenth Beach comes alive with a wide range of activities plus food and beverage options to keep everyone entertained.

Car parking for all vehicles is $10 per car at the venue.

Those unable to make it to 13th Beach will be able to catch all the action live again on the ABC and Fox Sports throughout the week, with 16 hours of play to be simulcast across Australia and around the world.
